Lauren, I agree.

Something interesting - I checked out The 365 Project, and at least from the four or five postings I read, everyone seems to be a marketing/advertising big shot in Chicago or NYC (or something). I'm wondering how "unique" their individual perspectives will be. I'm glad you took part to offer a glimpse of your point of view.

Also, CNN SHOULD give airtime to stories about guys in the drive-thru paying for coffees for people behind them, or check-out ladies at grocery stores saving shakers of allspice for frazzled women with babies who miss packing them into their grocery bags. Then maybe I would watch more news.

For now, I will continue to enjoy the [children's] program, "What's Your News?" where a team of tech-savvy ants (and one anteater) report on children who are doing fun things. 9:30 weekdays on CBC. I watch in HD.

***
Quoted from IMDB:
"'What's Your News?' is the first ever news show for (and about) 4-7 year old children and helps their transition from their home and family environment into the wider world. [...] Unlike regular news programs which focus on Westminster politics and world events, 'What's Your News?' covers ground-breaking stories including the arrival of a new pet dog, playing the piano with both hands and getting a haircut!"
