I've lived my entire adult life poor, so I've already have the mindset that I can't afford anything, although teaching pays a sweet buck. I guess I never got out of the "I have no money, so buy nothing" mentality... especially since I have no money. I don't remember the last time I was in a mall... that was an unrelated thought.
